DEEP LOVE
I painted Deep Love, inspired by the relationships between grandmother and auntie sperm whales and their small relatives.
 
It is almost unique in the animal kingdom that females beyond breeding age play an active role in caring for the young. I love this conection and how it brings us closer to them and the fmaily bonds they share. 
 
Deep Love is painted in a mix of turqouise, blue and purple watercolours and is handfinished with gold gild, highlighting the magic of the ocean. Small stars, moons and detail are added to the print.

All of our pieces are printed from the original and hand painted watercolour pieces. They are Giclee printed on museum grade paper with ink designed to stand the test of time. The print is developed to look at feel like the orginal artwork.
 
Each print is editioned, titled and signed in pencil on the front.
 
Our pieces are printed in the UK, in small batches to prevent waste. This print comes wrapped in a compostable display bag. All our packaging is plastic free.
